Akita Dog Photo

The height of the males is about 26-28 inches, the females are 24-26 inches high; the males weigh 100-130 pounds, the females weigh less - 70-100 pounds. The usual life span is about 10-12 years. As the dogs come from Japan so must be the diet: including fish, rice and the like.
