Years ago the dog was used to hunt bears and different other animals in that harsh weather conditions. It is a good runner and swiftly chases its pray notwithstanding deep snows. That is meant to be a good and loving companion and a pet.

The dog of that breed was first found in Japan where it was bred and where a monument was contracted glorifying the faithfulness and the tenderness of that animal towards its master.
