White Akita
The white akita may appear in a rescue, but is usually acquired through breeders.
This type reminds a wolf albino very much. It has a wonderful coat and you have to take care of it much. You need to brush your dog every day but the washing should not be frequent. At least two times a year you will have really problems with its coat because of the shedding.

There are many different colors that this pedigree may have and on of the most unusual is snowy. That is the most advantageous color for a hunting dog that chases its prey in the snows; it is almost not visible and very beautiful.
